The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Has anyone ever played The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time? This game might just be my favorite game of all time! A close friend reminded me of how cool the game was and I started on it again. It is so fun! You are Link, the legendary hero of time, as you travel through the land of Hyrule to save Princess Zelda in an awesome adventure story. If you have never played this game, I highly recommend it, even though it is an older game for the Nintendo 64. I just have to put my two cents worth in on such a cool game...

The Legend of Zeldas are the abosolute best games out there. Even Wind Waker was excellent. Sure graphics might have been "childish" But hey I say they worked and they worked well. Twilight Princess is the next Legend and it brought back the fishing that we all loved from Ocarina of Time!!! This game will rock the house, especially with the Wii-mote! Long live the Legend of Zelda!!
ReplyDeleteI was right there with you until you started talking about Wind Waker. Because of that I've become slightly disenchanted and not as excited about Twilight Princess as I might normally be.
ReplyDeleteBut everything else about the Zelda series is awesome. And there's good memories: Putting in the gold cartridge so that you can finally complete the Second Quest on the original game...only to find out that all of the characters were erased. Watching the cartoons on TV that accompanied Captain N and the Super Marios Bros. Super Show. Playing Link to the Past at the dentist's office. Spending untold hours with my brother trying to find the Triforce in Ocarina of Time (I still have hope that it might actually be there).
This is one of the best game franchises that ever came out. I hope that Twilight Princess will let me get back into it again (though I'm not sure I like the idea of Link being a werewolf). Until then, I'll have to be happy with hitting Navi with my slingshot.
The Legend of Zelda II: A Link to the Past sucked. All the Zelda's on SNES were not that good. The one for N64 Ocerna of Time finaly got Zelda back to its fun roots.
ReplyDeleteWoot for Zelda - one of my most favorite games ever! I am way excitd for Twilight Princess, if only they'd quit moving the release date back. :( Meantime, I can entertain myself with Ocarina of Time, and Wind Waker (which lacks most definitely when compared to other Zelda games but is still pretty fun to play!)!
